Veronica Lawlor is an illustrator and the president of Studio 1482 in New York City. Her reportage drawings have led her around the world, completing assignments for a diverse group of clients including Brooks Brothers, Gallo Winery, the 3M Corporation and the Hyatt hotel chain. Her on-site drawings of the events of September 11, 2001 in New York City are part of collection of the Newseum in Washington DC. Ms. Lawlor also teaches drawing and illustration at Pratt Institute, Parsons the New School for Design and Dalvero Academy, which she co-founded with Margaret Hurst. For her contribution to the International Sketchbook Project, Veronica created a small reportage of New York City’s East Village, the neighborhood she calls home.
